As tennis professionals and coaches, our goal is to cater to our client’s tennis needs and maximize their potential. We strive to not only help improve your tennis game, but also to build friendships and bonds that extend beyond the tennis court.

Eric Globerman - Owner

Eric is co-owner of Chester Tennis Club. He has been a staple at the club since 2006 and has always found a way to bond with his students to bring out their best tennis. From adults to juniors, Eric has a way of forming relationships with his players that maximize their potential. Along with the role of owner, Eric is also Director of Tennis and will continue teaching lessons while working hard to modernize the club, deliver the latest technology to pros and players and provide everyone at Chester Tennis Club with the ultimate tennis experience. As a junior, Eric was ranked as high as #3 in the USTA Eastern Region and #60 Nationally. He was a member of the 4-time NJ State Champion Newark Academy Tennis Team. On the collegiate level, Eric played for Emory University which captured the 2003 Division III National Championship. Eric joined Fox Chase Tennis Club in 2006 and became the club's head pro in 2008. During his time here, he has steadily built a program that includes some of the area's top high school and tournament players. Eric is a certified PTR Tennis professional and has experience working with kids and adults at all levels from beginners to nationally ranked juniors.

Bryan Knehr - Owner

Bryan is the co-owner of Chester Tennis Club. He has been working with juniors and adults at the club since 2007. Bryan oversees all club operations and continues to be very active on the court. "Our mission is to deliver the best tennis experience to everyone that walks through the door. We will continually update the club, its programs, and its systems to keep the CTC at the forefront of the industry."

 

Bryan played Division I college tennis at James Madison University, from where he graduated. In 2005, Bryan became a USPTA certified Tennis Professional. He has extensive experience running ladies team practices, adult & junior/kid's drills, and has worked with students of all levels from beginners to nationally ranked and collegiate players.
